- | Room 259 | German

- | Room 259 | German

Immerse yourself in the exciting world of data analysis and data visualization! In this half-day training, we will familiarize you with the basics and guide you through the day-to-day work of a real data analyst: Gabriel. He is a trained journalist who has decided to change careers and now works as a data analyst. Together we will look at two practical case studies in which Gabriel effectively analyzes data and prepares it in a visually appealing way. This will give you an authentic insight into the techniques of data analysis and presentation that you can apply directly in your day-to-day work.

Empowering Knowledge Graphs with AI (organized by brox-IT Solutions)

- | Room 260 | English

This training introduces the enhancement of Knowledge Graphs (KG) with Large Language Models (LLM) and Graph Machine Learning (GML) in the context of Semantic Web Technologies (SWT). The Knowledge Graph, a crucial component of the Semantic Web, holds substantial potential for transforming various industries, despite facing challenges like integration difficulties and its requirement for developers with specialized expertise. On the other hand, Large Language Models, though showing promise, encounter uncertainties such as hallucination in outputs and high operational costs. The training emphasises a synergistic approach, showcasing how LLMs and GML contribute to KG construction, addressing issues like data cleaning and relation extraction. The focus is on utilising open-source technologies for KG construction, aiming to assist industries in harnessing the benefits of this technology. The targeted audience includes individuals or groups interested in digitisation with minimal prior knowledge of KGs, providing them with a streamlined workflow for proof of concept within their organisations. The training materials will be accessible via a GitHub repository, and feedback sessions will be provided to address general questions. Specific or in-depth inquiries will receive dedicated support post-training, particularly if the number of participants exceeds 15.

AI-assisted Coding: Increasing Code Quality and Efficiency (organized by SAXONY.ai)

- | Room 260 | German

- | Room 260 | German

In the rapidly evolving world of software development, the integration of large language models such as GPT4 or WizardCoder into programming practice has become increasingly essential. The training dives into the world of AI-assisted Python programming and provides comprehensive learning content aimed at improving participants' programming skills. The main focus is on using AI tools to improve existing code bases, simplify complex code to increase readability and maintainability, and write effective test cases that ensure code robustness. In addition, the training provides insights into increasing code efficiency, optimizing performance and reducing resource consumption. A significant part is dedicated to debugging techniques that enable participants to quickly identify and fix code anomalies using AI-driven approaches. The training is designed as an interactive and hands-on learning experience and equips participants with the necessary skills to integrate AI into their programming practices, resulting in higher quality and efficient software development.
